The Aschan House
Step back in time 200 years and visit the policemaster’s house and garden from the 1780’s.
About the exhibition
The house is a representative of the Rococo and Gustavian styles and was built in the 1780s to be the home of the family of Lars Adolf Aschan (1741–1809), the county kivalteri (= chief constable) of Kymenkartano county.
