The Great Fire of Turku in September 1827 destroyed much of the medieval city, and only a few buildings have survived to this day. Take a virtual walk through the city\u2019s streets and along the banks of the River Aura, and experience Turku as it was before the fire. In the alleys of Luostarinm\u00e4ki, you can explore a suburban residential area and discover what life was like 200 years ago.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This large-scale study, based on fire insurance documents, architectural drawings and historical descriptions of the city, comes to life in a 360\u00b0 city tour built from a detailed 3D model.
