Fog of War
Welcome to the virtual Fog of War exhibition. This exhibition recounts the dramatic events that took place during the First World War in the Gulf of Finland through three individual storylines, and plunges into the depths, exploring the hidden mysteries of historical wrecks lying on the seabed. The exhibition is based on a book of the same name, The Fog of War – the First World War in the Gulf of Finland, by research divers Juha ‘Roope’ Flinkman and Jouni Polkko.
About the exhibition
The exhibition takes you to a deep dive through history for free and without oxygen equipment. The sunken wreckage and the entire battlefield are frozen to the bottom of the sea. However, the underwater museum is not safe from wear and tear and thieves, even if the post-war reconstruction has not reached the depths of the seas. Welcome!
